DEEP GULF ENERGY – KODIAK

Located on Mississippi Canyon Block 773, the Devil’s Tower Spar services as a production hub for multiple subsea tiebacks. ENI serves as the operator of the facility.

The Kodiak subsea tieback to the production facility required both technical and operational updates to the hub. The increased loading conditions required significant weight management updates. Delmar Systems working from the Island Enforcer overcame significant challenges to install subsea buoyancy modules on existing permanent mooring lines. The adaptation of designs to meet new goals enabled the Kodiak project to be achieved at significant cost savings only realized through innovation and engineering excellence combined with exceptional offshore fortitude.

MODU OCEAN APEX, NORTH WEST SHELF AUSTRALIA

Deep Sea Mooring was contracted by Diamond Offshore (DODI) to provide mooring services for a three-well campaign to be undertaken by the MODU ‘Ocean Apex’ off the North West Australian coast in water depths ranging from 120m to 830m.

16PT PRELAY MOORINGS, NORTH WEST AUSTRALIA

Deep Sea Mooring was contracted to provide mooring services for a 6th Generation Semi-Submersible MODU at two locations off the North West Australian coast in water depths ranging from 190m to 370m. Each location comprised 16 prelaid mooring lines which were hooked up upon rig arrival.

SCARABEO-7, OFFSHORE INDONESIA

Deep Sea Mooring was contracted by Saipem to provide mooring services for a three-well campaign to be undertaken by the MODU ‘Scarabeo 7’ in the Makassar Strait, offshore Indonesia in water depths ranging from 390m to 1600m.
