John has over 20 years experience in engineering, design, installation, and management of worldwide offshore related projects, especially associated with vessel stability and mooring. Five years with primary focus on writing vessel operations manuals and performing intact / damaged stability analysis for use with daily offshore stability calculations. 19 years working and reviewing the design, analysis, and assessment of complex Mobile Offshore Drilling Unit (MODU) mooring systems using sophisticated hydrodynamic and line catenary software. Offshore technical field support for MODU deadweight surveys, incline tests, and mooring setout and pickup operations with complex preset and conventional mooring systems.
