VRYHOF AND FRANKLIN OFFSHORE STRENGTHEN PARTNERSHIP IN APAC

Vryhof and CFE Engineers Asia Pte Ltd (a subsidiary of Franklin Offshore Holdings Pte Ltd) have signed an agreement that will further enhance the services they can provide to regional customers thanks to the expansion of manufacturing capabilities to Singapore.

For some time, Vryhof and Franklin Offshore have been working together to serve permanent mooring system clients in the APAC region. The new plan involves working alongside CFE Engineers for the local fabrication of Vryhof products thereby guaranteeing the highest quality standard while still being able to considerably reduce costs, including the costs for logistics.

The history of the alliance to date has so convincingly met the anchoring and mooring requirements of oil and gas companies that Vryhof and Franklin Offshore have decided to sign a long-term manufacturing agreement, with effect from 1 January 2019”.

The inclusion of the innovative anchor technology and anchor manufacturing experience acquired by Vryhof in Europe over the past 30 years means that the alliance can offer oil and gas companies in the APAC region a full suite of top-quality mooring solutions delivered in a more efficient and cost-effective way.

CFE Engineers, a fully owned subsidiary of Franklin Offshore, established in 2000, has an outstanding track record of successful steel structure fabrication projects, ranging from riser reels to suction piles and even topside modules. CFE’s huge waterfront manufacturing facility, accreditation in the latest QHSE Systems and experienced workforce enable them to supply turnkey solutions including engineering, project management, procurement and customised steel structure fabrication projects, fully in-house. 

Vryhof and Franklin Offshore in Singapore have developed an excellent working relationship over the past few years. The two companies have now entered into a formal alliance, under the terms of which Franklin Offshore becomes exclusive marketer and reseller for Vryhof’s anchoring and mooring equipment in the Asia-Pacific region, while Vryhof will be available to provide engineering support as and when required.
